NORTH COAST 500

Our most recent 4 day tour in the North of Scotland consisted  of 5 friends, 3 on road bikes and 2 on electric bikes. After two days one of the electric bikers transferred to a road bike.  The problem with a mixture of electric and non electric bikes is that the  ebikes are fast up hill but struggle to keep up on the flat and downhill.  Amazingly the batteries kept going well despite one 90k day and 1600m of climbing.
